Let's imagine the following scenario for a moment: the beer is chilled, the bratwurst is frying and then Romania is playing Albania in the European Championship. Or everyone sits completely electrified at the football, only we are bored. We've checked out all the places we could have gone to. No one has time. No one was responsive. Then, of course, we can get on our bikes alone and pedal the usual routes, greeting the few other non-fans on the way, who are also rolling through the evening alone. So far so usual. Or we can spend pleasurable hours without football in the city. And that goes like this:
*<link http: www.schwedlersee.de _blank>Schwedlersee: Always on Wednesdays for the holiday in everyday life we visit the "saugeile location" as visitors rave, who think with the hidden lake at the Osthafen to have discovered a paradise on earth very close to home. True enough. A tip that is hotly traded among fans.
* Visit bees: MMK 1 maintains its own beehive on the roof of the building. <link http: mmk-frankfurt.de _blank>Children as well as adults can experience the big city life of bees under the guidance of the bee fathers. Children will have the opportunity to taste different types of honey as part of a workshop. Guided tour for adults: Wednesday, June 15, 7 p.m.; workshop for kids: June 19, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
* Because we're already sick of bratwurst, let's dash to Wall Street and best of all, the <link https: www.facebook.com fame.sandwiches _blank>Sandwich Shop. Saturday, June 11 there's live music to go with the good food as the organizers advertise: Italian delights means "pasta for the ears" and authentic salami on bread! And very special: MEATBALL-SANDWICH FROM SALSICCIA-Sausage as well as ARANCINI SICILIANI-RICE BALLS. But only if we don't play Italy ;-)
* Street parties: <link http: www.die-schweizerstrasse.de _blank>Sachsenhausen is celebrating up and down Schweizer Straße for the finals on 09 and 10 June. Between Gartenstraße and Textorstraße, the businessmen of this shopping street will once again spoil the festival guests with delicate gastronomy and traditional specialties. For Schweizer Straße also enjoys a good reputation among gourmets with its exclusive delicatessens, a multitude of restaurants, bistros, cider houses, caf<x>ampersand</x>eacute;s and trendy bars.
