Fall trend: Are these Frankfurt's four coziest cafes?

I had a business lunch date with a colleague a few days ago - we met in a plush Café with velvet sofa and chandelier. A business associate invited me out in the North End a while back - destination? A caf<x>Ampersand</x>eacute; with wing chairs and tablecloths. And suddenly, all around me, there seemed to be nothing but coffee houses that had one thing in common besides coffee and cake: their cozy living room feel. I wonder if it's the season. What do you think?

What makes the cozy living room character?

So, it may be gladly velvety. A big fashion trend this season anyway! (Warning: gift idea alert!!! Velvet bags, velvet shoes, velvet gloves etc. But be excited for my post on gift ideas. I've got some fine suggestions for you there. Coming soon to this place:-))

In any case, armchairs belong to it. Also a sofa has to go into the good coffee room. Then the way is paved for a cozy get-together. There should be no lack of cosy lamps. No new-fangled, cool ones with a clean design. No, rather the kind that every grandma used to switch on in her flat, in November, when it was already getting dark at four o'clock in the afternoon on some days. In the past as well as today.

Who of you likes November? Hands up, don't be shy. Because I think this month is fabulous. Why is that, you ask? It's wet, windy and dark. Mostly all at once. Three kinds of miserable. I dare to say: No comfort without the ugly twin Un-. So the wet November always enters our lives with its better half, the coziness.

If I'm currently therefore on the road, then please may the Cafés be properly equipped with materials that radiate warmth such as a wooden wallpaper and velvet-covered furniture. So where can you find Frankfurt's four coziest Cafés?

· <link https: www.facebook.com _blank>"Café in luck" A small neighborhood eatery with a delicious breakfast. Yellowed photos of people who used to live in the Nordend cling to the walls. Furniture mix of art nouveau and shabby chic.

Gluckstraße 17, tel. 069 95016817, Tue-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, Mon day off, seating: 44 inside/30 outside, cuisine: German

· <link https: www.facebook.com hemings-coffee-1785161385129897 _blank>"Hemings Coffee". At the very back of the coffeehouse, it's especially cozy without feeling cramped. The wide armchairs invite you to lounge around. Priceless, of course, the view of the Mainufer from Sachsenhausen. Super-friendly, unobtrusive service. Tip: Be sure to try the homemade cake!

Frankensteiner Straße 25, 60594 Frankfurt; Mon-Sat 9.30 to 21 h, Sun 10-20 h

· <link http: www.mainkaicafe.de _blank>Mainkai Café. Can't be beat for friendliness. The chocolate cake is a sin, the cheese cream cake anyway and at lunchtime always make sure to book or you won't get a seat on the velvet benches. To fall in love with: the location in the historic city centre directly on the Main.

Mainkai 15, 60311 Frankfurt; Mon.Fri. and public holidays: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Sat. and Sun.: 09 a.m.-2 p.m.

· <link http: www.cafe-maingold.en _blank>Café Maingold - The own slogan "vierzimmerküchebar" is program. If you move in here for coffee, you won't want to leave. And that is certainly not because of the bad weather, but solely because of the homely atmosphere. Praise the cakes in the display? It's a gift! The winding rooms are worth a visit alone!

Zeil 1, 60313 Frankfurt; Tuesday to Thursday 12-24 hrs, Friday to Saturday 12-1 hrs, Sunday and public holiday 10-21 hrs, Monday closed (1 November to 1 March)

Which Cafés do you like in autumn? And which one can you still recommend?

Oh you beautiful spruce - Does the Christmas tree have to ..
Beautiful Giving - Oh horror, Christmas again
