On Friday, September 16, filmmaker Annika Pinske will come to Frankfurt's Harmonie Kino to present her new film ALLE REDEN ÜBERS WETTER. And that's what the film is about:
Clara has made it. Away from the East German province, she leads an independent life in Berlin as a lecturer and is doing her doctorate in philosophy. Between her professional ambitions, an affair with one of her students, and the demanding friendship with her doctoral mother Margot, there is little time for family. When Clara returns home with her fifteen-year-old daughter for her mother Inge's 60th birthday, she is confronted with her ideal of a free, self-determined life. How high is the price she has to pay for this?
With humorous, pointed dialogues and precise interpersonal observations ALLE REDEN ÜBERS WETTER tells the story of an East German educational climber between everyday life in the metropolis and growing up in the province. Director Annika Pinske previously worked with Maren Ade (TONI ERDMANN) and René Pollesch, and won the German Short Film Award for her short film HOMEWORK.
The Frankfurt premiere will take place as part of the cinema tour in the presence of director Annika Pinske on Friday, 16. September 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Harmonie cinema.
