From 23 February, a Disney+ subscription becomes even more attractive. Because then the film and series offer with the inclusion of Disney+ Star will be expanded again strongly. Right from the start, there are over 60 series, more than 270 films and 4 exclusive Star Originals to discover. New titles from Disney's creative studios, including Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios and more will be added each month.
The Star Originals
With the launch of Star, Disney+ becomes the exclusive home of the Star Originals. Titles available to stream on Disney+ in Germany include the thriller series "Big Sky" from visionary screenwriter David E. Kelley ("Big Little Lies," "The Undoing") and the "Love, Simon" spin-off series "Love, Victor," which was once again written by writing duo Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger ("This Is Us"). Also, the animated sitcom "Solar Opposites" from "Rick & Morty" creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan. The drama series "Helstrom" will also be available at launch. It was produced by executive producers Paul Zbyszewski, Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb. Other titles that will be new to 2021 include premium series "Dopesick" and "The Dropout," as well as new projects from the Kardashian Jenners and a slew of FX originals, including "The Old Man."

Disney+ subscribers will be able to stream even more of what they love: Along with popular series like "Grey's Anatomy," "24," "Buffy - Under the Spell of Demons," "The X-Files - The FBI's Uncanny Cases," "Lost" and "Family Guy," Star will offer a range of titles for everyone and every mood, with more titles being added weekly.
Also available to subscribers will be: "Atlanta," the innovative FX comedy from Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Donald Glover; the Emmy® and Golden Globe®-nominated ABC comedy series "Black-ish," starring Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi; the hit post-apocalyptic horror series "The Walking Dead"; and the critically acclaimed justice drama "Scandal" from Shonda Rhimes.
Among the movies that will be available at launch are. "Grand Budapest Hotel"," "The Royal Tenenbaums," "The Narrow Ridge," "Deadpool" and "Planet of the Apes", as well as classics like "Pretty Woman", "Die Hard", "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Moulin Rouge".
A New Parental Controls
To ensure Disney+ is appropriate for viewers of all ages and meets parents' expectations for an age-appropriate user experience, the new Parental Controls will launch on February 23. This provides the ability to restrict access to content for certain profiles based on age ratings and add a PIN to block profiles with access to more adult content.
Star on Disney+ will be available in Germany, the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Canada, starting February 23. Star-branded content available may vary by region.
Customers in Germany can currently subscribe to Disney+ for 6.99<x>amp</x>euro; per month or for 69.99<x>amp</x>euro; annually. Full subscription details can be found at Disneyplus.com. Starting February 23, Disney+ will cost 8.99<x>ampersand</x>euro; or 89.90<x>ampersand</x>euro; per year. Current prices for existing customers who subscribed before February 23, 2021 will remain in effect for an additional six months, with the price change taking effect on the monthly or annual renewal date after August 22, 2021.
