Good news for all fans of the DCEU: After the German premiere of "Wonder Woman 1984" Sky brings on 18.03.2021 parallel to the U.S. premiere of the next DC thriller to Germany: On Sky Cinema on this day "Zack Snyder's Justice League", the hotly anticipated by fans Director`s Cut of the rather disappointing in the cinema version superhero epic, will be seen. And with streaming service Sky Ticket, this all-new, four-hour film version will also be available to watch.
Due to a family tragedy, Zack Snyder had had to relinquish both the director`s chair and creative sovereignty over the film during the making of "Justice League" (2017). As a result, Joss Whedon had taken over and left much of Snyder's material unused, instead rewriting and reshooting scenes. The result had fallen far short of expectations at the box office and did little to win over most fans. Since then, DC fans worldwide have wished the director of hits like "Dawn of the Dead", "300" and "Man of Steel" would finish his own vision of the superhero epic after all. The call for the "Snyder cut" finally got so loud that it was heard by the studio. Not only was Snyder given the okay, but he was also given additional budget to finish his vision as best he could. So now the director can present his big dark epic about Batman, Wonder Woman and Co. to a worldwide audience: A four hour long work, which for many is already one of the film highlights of the year.

Those who do not have a SKY subscription will have to wait until May 20. That's when "Zack Snyder's Justice League" will be released digitally, with the physical release following a week later. What that will look like is currently unknown. As soon as the info is available, we'll update this.
