For over a quarter of a century, the street festival on the lower Bergerstraße has been one of the largest and most beautiful district festivals in Frankfurt. After a two-year break, the now 35th Berger Straßenfest will take place on May 28 and 29, 2022. Even after the long break, exactly what people love about the Berger Straßenfest will be offered: On the festival mile between Höhenstraße and Bethmannpark, there will be a total of 120 booths offering, above all, a wide variety of food and drinks. In addition, a varied music program will once again be offered on three stages - on Höhenstraße, Merianplatz and Bethmannpark. It is another step back to normality, which will probably use many people.
Only the residents will groan on the days before and during the street festival, the already disastrous parking situation is aggravated by the closure of the lower Bergerstraße but still many times. But for such a beautiful and entertaining street festival, one gladly accepts these inconveniences once a year. Visitors to the Berger Street Festival are encouraged to use public transportation anyway. So one can enjoy also carefree a Gläschen Äppelwoi more.
