For more than a quarter of a century, the street festival on Untere Bergerstraße has been one of the largest and most beautiful city district festivals in Frankfurt. In addition to several street artists, a varied live music program on three stages ensures a good mood, which really has something for every taste. And the 120 or so stalls lining the festival mile between Untere Bergerstraße and Bethmannpark not only offer all kinds of beautiful and useful things, but also provide visitors with a culinary treat. For the little ones there will be a supervised children's play area at Merianplatz and the popular clown Julio has also announced that he will be coming again. Only the residents groan on the days before and during the street festival, the already catastrophic parking situation is aggravated by the closure of the lower Bergerstraße but still by a multiple. But for such a beautiful and entertaining street festival one gladly accepts these inconveniences once a year. Visitors to the Berger Street Festival are encouraged to use public transport anyway. So you can also enjoy a glass of Äppelwoi more carefree.
