Globetrotter FREILUFT Outdoor Testival at Langener Waldsee
On 12 and 13 April 2025, the Freiluft Outdoor Testival will take place at Langener Waldsee. It is the largest outdoor test festival in the Rhine-Main region and offers a wide range of testing opportunities, workshops and activities relating to outdoor adventures.
Programme highlights:
- Test opportunities: Tents, shoes, cookers, boats and stand-up paddling (SUP)
- Van Life Area: test rooftop tents and get tips from experienced campers
- 2nd Hand Sale: sell or buy good condition outdoor gear (excluding safety gear, socks, shoes and other brands)
- Workshops:
- Outdoor photography with your smartphone
- Route planning with the Komoot app
- Changing and repairing bike inner tubes
- Bikepacking: Tools and breakdown assistance on the road
- Bulli conversion: Planning and organisation
- Child relaxation and mindfulness on the road
- Carving with Victorinox knife specialist
- Lighting a fire without a lighter
- Multi-day tours with the SUP
- Sports activities:
- Community Ride for beginners (12. April, 14:00, 25 km)
- Community Ride for advanced riders (13. April, 11:00 am, 60 km)
- Yoga on the SUP
- Archery
- Climbing on the Globetrotter climbing tower
- Children's activities:
- Children's yoga on the balance board
- Carving for children
- Upcycling projects
- Nature experience tours
- Playing games/li>
- Play mobile with roller slide, bouncy cushion and games of skill
Opening times:
- Saturday, 12. April 2025: 10:00 - 18:00
- Sunday, 13. April 2025: 10:00 - 17:00
Arrival:
- By car: Langener Waldsee is located south of Frankfurt and can be reached via the A5 and B44 motorways. Parking spaces are available on site.
- By public transport: From Frankfurt, take the S-Bahn (S3 or S4) to Langen, then continue by bus or bike to Waldsee.
Important information:
- Admission to the Testival is free of charge.
- Some workshops and tours require prior registration: Programme Saturday and Programme Sunday
- Please make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather.
- Dogs are allowed on the site, but must be kept on a lead.
The Freiluft Outdoor Testival offers an exciting weekend for families, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who wants to try out new adventures.
