Halloween in the Brömserburg
This time under the motto: "Night of the Vampires"
From Dracula to Nosferatu - An eerily beautiful event for vampire fans big and small
The wait is over! On Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, Halloween fans and all those who fancy a spooky and beautiful spectacle on these gray(er) autumn days will get their money's worth in Rüdesheim. Brömserburg Castle is transformed into a meeting place for vampires and creatures of the night. Young and old are invited to go on a journey of discovery and encounter dark figures and strange phenomena. It will be a spooky adventure for the whole family!
Old castles and palaces have always been the preferred home of legendary bloodsuckers. After all, they are light-shy creatures that feel at home in abandoned dungeons and dungeons. And so the centuries-old Brömserburg Castle is also home to vampires, werewolves and children of the night as part of this year's Halloween spectacle. Goosebumps are guaranteed for young and old alike!
For little vampires: scary games and pumpkin carving in the castle courtyard. Adventurous and scary things
In the afternoon, vampires of all ages can explore the grounds around Brömserburg Castle on their own. A walk through the castle's own cemetery reveals all kinds of macabre things. In all corners of the garden, eerie figures invite you to play illustrious games. Who dares to go inside the bat house on the hunt for sweets? Who will overcome their fear and pose for a photo in an open coffin or even with Count Dracula himself?
For big vampires: horror tour through the castle catacombs and party with DJ Dracula
At nightfall, the dark magic of Halloween night begins. Bats flutter and dark shadows flit across the moonlit
walls of the castle. The creatures of the night have awoken ... Meter-high flames shoot from the castle walls, fog envelops the entire garden, the dead come to life in the coffins and crypts. A spectacular light and fire show that will make your blood run cold awaits visitors this year.
The gates to the catacombs open at 6 pm sharp. Only the particularly brave dare to take the spectacular tour through the interior of Brömserburg Castle. Those who overcome their fears will follow the vampire hunter down into the crypt, make the acquaintance of the seemingly dead and delve deep into the dark world of vampires. Over 30 actors and six different themed worlds with special effects await visitors this year. But beware: the tour is not for the faint-hearted! Children and sensitive people are not recommended to visit!
No problem! Because if you prefer to dance in the meantime, you can find yourself in front of the stage from 7 pm. DJ Dracula invites you to dance the vampires! From dark wave to 80s, only the best and scariest from two centuries will be on offer!
Of course, the physical well-being of guests young and old will also be catered for. There will be mulled wine and hot drinks with and without alcohol. There will also be "bloody" alternatives from the hearse.
