On the second weekend in September, Dreieichenhain will once again be transformed into a medieval spectacle! The Hayner Burgfest invites all medieval enthusiasts to experience the historic ambience of the old town. With a sophisticated medieval market and a top-class cultural program, the festival offers entertainment for the whole family.
Talented minstrels, jugglers and actors provide entertainment and merriment on the stages and in the market. Over one hundred craftsmen, traders and innkeepers enliven the historic "Herrenborn" market, which was first mentioned 487 years ago. You can look forward to authentic crafts, lively stalls and a wide range of food and drink.
This year's motto "Kurzweyl, Schmaus und Schabernack" promises special highlights: On Friday evening, the medieval rock band "Letzte Instanz" will heat up the audience with their catchy melodies and profound lyrics. On Saturday evening, the legendary band "Schelmish" will return to the stage for an exclusive concert - a must for all fans!
The festival is rounded off by an accompanying scientific program with lectures, workshops and craft demonstrations.
