Günther Krabbenhöft, born in 1945, became a worldwide sensation at the age of 70 as a "hipster grandpa" when a tourist took a photo of him at a Berlin subway station and posted it online. On Wednesday, September 18, 4 p.m., Krabbenhöft will talk about his life and read from his book "Just be you!", in which he writes about the desire and courage to discover and celebrate one's own uniqueness. Krabbenhöft grew up near Hanover and has lived in Berlin since 1968. He was married, has a daughter and was one of the first members of the "Gay Fathers" association in the early 1980s.
