The Latin American Christmas Market at the Bockenheimer Warte - a cultural festival for the whole family
On the weekend from November 29 to December 01, 2024, O&M Event Gastro GmbH is organizing a Latin American Christmas Market at the Bockenheimer Warte in Frankfurt. The aim of the event is to promote intercultural exchange and create a place for conversation in a cozy atmosphere. Under the motto "Experience connects", the focus is on getting to know other cultures. Dialogue between cultures is encouraged through diverse encounters, joint dance workshops, folklore performances and tasting culinary dishes.
On three days of the event, Friday from 17:00 - 22:00, Saturday from 12:00 - 22:00 and Sunday from 12:00 - 20:00, a colorful supporting program with live music, Latin American dance classes and folklore shows will provide entertainment. Regional artisans from Peru, El Salvador, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia will be presenting their handmade handicrafts made of wood, silver, textiles and much more. Selected food stands from South and Central America provide a varied culinary experience. Each stand presents a different Latin American country. To showcase the traditional customs of a German Christmas market, typical Christmas cookies and, of course, mulled wine will also be on offer.
For the children, there will be a Santa Claus on site and there will be a piñata, a Latin American tradition where children hit colorful figures filled with sweets.
