Frankfurt Monument Office invites you to free guided tours

Throughout Germany, various monuments can be visited on Open Monument Day on Sunday, September 8. The City of Frankfurt's Monument Office has once again selected architecturally and urbanistically interesting listed buildings and complexes for this day, which will be the subject of guided tours.

In addition to interesting historical information about the monuments, the tours will also focus on the renovation and restoration of the buildings in accordance with monument protection laws. A guided tour on an archaeological topic will also be offered again this year. There are several important archaeological sites in the city of Frankfurt. This year's tour sheds light on life in a settlement dating back to the 6th millennium BC. All guided tours organized by the Monuments Office are free of charge, but there is a limit to the number of participants on individual tours and registration is required by Saturday, August 31.
