The versatile, international ensemble of artists will be performing in the FrankfurtRhineMain metropolitan region from 12.06. to 07.07.2024 with its poetic and captivating show PARAISO - in the style of French Nouveau Cirque with elements of artistic circus, comedy, music, theater and dance. The charming, now much larger and more comfortable Chapiteau will be located at the Reduit in Mainz-Kastel.
PARAISO is the idea of a wonderful, divine place where everyone can be a king or queen.
Inspired by the work of the Dutch late Gothic painter Hieronymus Bosch, French director Frédéric Zipperlin has created a show that revolves around illustrious figures and mythical creatures and also contains many unusual visual elements.
Similar to Bosch's paintings, the same symbols and themes can be found again and again in PARAISO.
Everything is always a little different than you think: the protagonists surprise you with impressions, images and emotions, bizarre situations, lots of humor and dreamlike magic. Sometimes colorful, sometimes loud, sometimes funny, sometimes quiet.
The captivating production by Cirque Bouffon transports you into a poetic dream world - always accompanied by the sensual and intoxicating music of Ukrainian composer Sergei Sveshinsky. PARAISO shows the modern desire for change and social renewal.
