After a year's break, the popular Schweizer Straßenfest in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen is back. On September 28 and 29, 2024, the Aktionsgemeinschaft Schweizer Straße e.V. (AGS) invites you to the 38th edition of this traditional festival. This time, visitors can look forward to a new concept and numerous surprises.
Supported by Stadtmarketing and Wirtschaftsförderung der Stadt Frankfurt, AGS presented its partners and the planned program at a press conference. "We are looking forward to rediscovering Schweizer Straße at the end of September and turning night into day", emphasize the organizers.
As in previous years, Schweizer Straße in Sachsenhausen will be transformed into a lively festival mile for two days. From Gartenstraße to Textorstraße, delicatessens, a variety of restaurants, bistros, cider bars, cafés and trendy bars invite you to linger. Shopkeepers on the shopping street treat festival guests to delicious food and traditional specialties.
The various stages along the street are a particular crowd-puller, with music and show acts providing the best entertainment. Every year, the street festival has a special theme, for which the AGS organizes a varied stage programme. There are also numerous activities for younger visitors, so there is something for the whole family.
