Time Travel Anniversary Menu through Four Decades
With a time travel menu through four decades, the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center is ringing in its 40th birthday in culinary terms. For the anniversary menu, kitchen director Klaus Böhler has been inspired by popular dishes from restaurant menus from 1975 to the present day: Each of the four courses represents one of the last four decades, but is prepared and served in a modern way. Served are ox cheeks in truffle vinaigrette, two variations of a lobster soup - as consommé and as cream soup -, stuffed veal fillet with chive sauce, vegetables and potato crusts, and for dessert a sushi of exotic fruits.
The anniversary menu will be offered at the restaurant "Flavors" until the end of the year, costs 40 euros per person and is limited to twelve people per evening. Corresponding to the menu, special wines are on offer at special prices.
