Piedmont full: We taste our way through the most important wines of this blessed landscape. In addition to Dolcetto and Barbera, Barbaresco and Barolo will not be missed. But what would these wonderful wines be without the right food, i.e. the unique cuisine of Piedmont? It's always amazing how well the wines do, especially as accompaniments to food, and how great they taste when the right food is on the table. We won't miss this opportunity, so there will also be a small menu from the Gourmet Academy's cooking workshop to accompany the strong red wines of Piedmont. I'll be bringing a selection of my favourite Piedmontese wines, worth around €130, to the launch and giving a deep insight into Piedmont's diverse wine scene.
