Located directly at the Hauptwache, the branch offers space for around 200 guests in its bright, inviting premises. A good example of this is the potatoes used for the French fries, which are deep-fried in peanut oil. Only potatoes from beyond the 42nd parallel are used for this, as they grow more slowly there, making them bigger and firmer. Every day they are cut anew and freshly prepared for the guest. But that's not the only special feature at FIVE GUYS. Because here every burger is prepared individually according to the needs of the guest. From 15 different toppings, everyone can put together their own personal favourite burger. There is nothing prefabricated, each burger, the fries or shakes are freshly prepared after the order. And you can even watch them being prepared, as the kitchen is integrated into the dining room. Such transparency is already unique.
Marketing is largely dispensed with at FIVE GUYS. The company spares itself expensive advertising campaigns, preferring to invest the money in the ingredients and the staff. Instead, they rely on word-of-mouth. "That's the be-all and end-all for us," says Gilcher, and when you see how big the reception was on opening day, it's clear how well this concept is working. The fact that the team was able to convince with a very good organization and a lot of friendliness right from the start also has a very positive effect. And so it can be assumed that the FIVE GUYS will not only meet with great interest among Frankfurt's burger fans during the opening phase, but that they will also be among those who will stay when the big burger boom dies down again.
