The Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt opens the open-air season in the historic Schoppenhof with a highlight in May: On 22 May, a wine market will take place there for the first time from 12 noon. Here, visitors can taste and purchase wines from twelve vintners from well-known German wine-growing regions at classic market huts. More than 20 market stalls with selected dishes complete the offer around the event, which is also the starting signal for the beer garden season in the Schoppenhof. Tickets are available in advance for 8 euro at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. Everyone who buys a ticket does good at the same time: All proceeds from ticket and raffle sales go to the Kinderhilfestiftung e.V. Frankfurt.
Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Franconia, Baden and Mosel: At the first wine market in the Schoppenhof, you can get to know the growths of various German wine-growing regions. For example, the wineries Künstler, St. Antony, Joh. Jos. Prüm or Markgraf von Baden are represented. Hessen's national drink, apple wine, is provided by the Frankfurt Main Äppelhaus from Lohrberg. To match the wine, chef Stefanos Melianos and his team offer hearty and sweet dishes: Hay soup, onion tart, barbecue delicacies, tarte flambée, raclette and cr<x>Ampersand</x>egrave;pes. A live band will provide musical accompaniment to the wine market, and guests can also win great prizes in a raffle, such as brunch vouchers for the EssTisch restaurant or an overnight stay in a Kempinski hotel.
Admission to the wine market at Schoppenhof on May 22 costs 10 euros per person, 8 euros in advance. Proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will benefit the Kinderhilfestiftung e.V. Frankfurt am Main. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. With the purchase of a ticket, visitors will receive an engraved wine glass - to taste the wines and as a small souvenir. The market is open from 12.00 to 18.00 o'clock
