Frankfurt's biggest culinary competition is back!
After years of festival alternatives plagued by the pandemic, Frankfurt's biggest culinary competition is returning to the Roßmarkt. From May 11 to 18, 2024, the Green Sauce Festival will once again open its tent doors. This year, it will not only be decided who plays the best soccer in Europe, but also who makes the best Grie Soß in Frankfurt and the surrounding area.
49 restaurateurs, 8 evening shows, 1 goal: Who makes the best?
A total of 49 restaurants will be demonstrating their skills in preparing the green sauce. Each evening, 650 guests will taste the 7 green sauce variations prepared by the respective chefs. In keeping with Hessian tradition, eggs and potatoes are served with the dishes, and a free choice of drinks is also available. At the end of the evening, the voting cards are drawn and the audience chooses the evening's winner. The 7 evening winners will compete against each other on day 8 in the grand final and then it's time to decide: Who makes the best?

A diverse show program with guest artists from comedy, cabaret and music adds the right spice to the culinary-cultural competition.
Host Anton Le Goff is ready with his band and is looking forward to the following guests: the Zucchini Sistaz, Friedemann Weise, Woody Feldmann, Magic Monday, the a cappella pop band MEDLZ, Andy Ost, ventriloquist Sebastian Reich with Amanda, Michelle Spillner and - finally back in the festival tent: Bodo Bach.
