NITRO shows docu-series about Eintracht Frankfurt

For football fans, the new 2018/19 programming season of men's channel <link https: www.nitro-tv.de cms index.html _blank>NITRO has plenty to offer. Channel boss Oliver Schablitzki is certain: "With the broadcast of the 'UEFA Europa League', we will expand our live and sports affinity even further from September - we are particularly looking forward to this."

The programming focus on sports alongside factual entertainment and fiction has paid off for NITRO: In the core target group of 14- to 59-year-old males, NITRO currently has a market share of 2.3 percent in 2018 and 2.0 percent among 14- to 59-year-olds - putting the station at the top of the league of all private stations in the 3rd and 4th generation. With the football broadcasts, there should be a few more viewers. And the hope is not unjustified: NITRO will broadcast six UEFA Europa League matches exclusively on free TV in 2018. The matches will be drawn on 31.08. The first live broadcast will take place on 20.09. The presenter will be Laura Wontorra. In total, NITRO and RTL will show 15 live matches of the 18/19 season of the European club competition. This means one exclusive live broadcast per match day and detailed highlights of all other matches. Under the motto "Europapokal für alle", the "UEFA Europa League: Magazin" will take a look behind the scenes of this European football competition starting on September 24.

There will be a very special highlight for all Eintracht Frankfurt fans: With the seven-part documentary series "Countdown for Europe - Eintracht Frankfurt" (AT), NITRO will accompany Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt on its way to and through the UEFA Europa League. For the first time, a German professional football team is letting the cameras get up close and personal, allowing a real and exciting glimpse into the world of experience of a European Cup participant. For fans, this means being really close to their club and gaining insights that would otherwise be denied.

Also in another magazine of the channel Eintracht Frankfurt will be a frequent topic: "100% Bundesliga - Fußball bei NITRO", the weekly live football magazine with the popular presenter duo Laura Wontorra and Thomas Wagner, will be even more up-to-date, there will be even more analysis and even more opinion. Another new feature is the increased focus on the upcoming Bundesliga week and the Europa League. Clearly, football fans and especially Eintracht fans should keep an eye on NITRO this season
