Stimmungsvoller geht es fast nicht: Wer im Parkhaus an der Konstablerwache auf das fünfte Parkdeck fährt, wird im Grau des Parkhauses schnell die von Lichterketten gesäumte Treppe entdecken, die rauf auf das Dach führt. Schon beim Erklimmen der Stufen wird man mit einem großartigen Blick auf die Skyline verwöhnt. Und ist das Dach erreicht, empfängt sogleich die stimmungsvollen Atmosphäre, die Frankfurts Rooftop-Alm umgibt, die Besucher. Doch der eigentliche Zauber geht nicht vornehmlich von der Almhütte aus, die 2017 erstmals auf dem Areal aufgebaut wurde, das im Sommer als CityBeach zu den beliebtesten Rooftop-Locations der Stadt gehört. Es ist der liebevoll dekorierte Markt vor der CityAlm, der hier eine weihnachtliche Stimmung ausstrahlt, die in Verbindung mit der abendlichen Skyline deutschlandweit einzigartig sein dürfte.

And although there is a great feel-good atmosphere here even when the weather is not quite so great, which attracts numerous visitors, the atmosphere always remains informal.

Frankfurt's only rooftop alp offers an authentic alp feeling in the middle of the city: here you can enjoy hearty dishes and refreshing draught beer and experience exuberant hut fun high above the rooftops. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and offers something for every taste - from hearty delicacies to sweet temptations.

For small appetites, there are our kloane Schmankerl: a creamy pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, a pair of white sausages with sweet mustard and fresh pretzels or Fr. Rottenmaier's side salad with carrots, seeds and our house dressing. A special highlight is "Kass Kass Kass", a cheese platter with Obatzter, gherkin slices, mountain cheese and soft cheese, garnished with sweet and sour gherkins and parsley.

If you want a stronger meal, you will find it at Wos Gscheids: Alm Öhi's cheese spaetzle with mountain cheese and fried onions is a classic, while the vegetarian mushroom ragout with potato dumplings and mushroom ragout offers a flavorful change of pace. Our beef goulash with potato dumplings and red cabbage as well as the Almburger with beef, mountain cheese and white cabbage salad provide a real mountain hut feeling. For traditional gourmets, there is a Wiener-style schnitzel to choose from, served with potato salad, cranberries and lemon.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there's Wos Siaßes: Grandma's apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce and raspberry cream or the legendary Kaiserschmarrn - perfect for a sweet finale above the rooftops of Frankfurt.
