Let's face it: in Frankfurt, we're sometimes a bit pressured when it comes to confidently presenting the advantages of the city to the outside world. Yes, Berlin is this, Munich that, generally Düsseldorf and Hamburg and so on and so forth. But if there is one thing in which Frankfurt is truly unbeatable, it is its height: I mean, skyline? Germany's only city with towers rising imposingly to the sky along its wonderful river banks? If some magazine talks about rooftop bars without mentioning Frankfurt, I don't begrudge our cities that: because whoever is on top has made it anyway ;-)
And even if the summer finally takes a little breather this weekend, you can still relax casually above the roofs of our so hectic city. Oh, anyone who has spent an evening climbing high, enjoying the view, a cold beer, a fresh white wine or a Waldmeisterbowle, watching the sun go down, bathing everything in pastel light, knows: we have Frankfurt, who needs L.A.?
Here we go high up:
*<link http: www.skylineplaza.de das-center erleben dachgartenskyline-garden _blank>Skyline Garden: the Waldmeisterbowle is really recommended according to Waldmeister lovers, the burgers would still need a little nudge to taste really good. The restaurant "Alex" has had a branch next to the Metropolis cinema for quite some time. In the lush green roof garden of the Skyline Plaza shopping centre, which is well worth a visit and finally offers one hour of free parking, you can also be active during the day.

*The classic: The <link http: www.longislandsummerlounge.de _blank>Long Island Summer Lounge on the Börsenstraße parking deck in the city center; see-and-be-seen at its best; sip wine cocktail "Ice Tropez" with peach nectar while your feet splash in the pool and your eyes explore the surroundings.
