Whether it is to be cheerful, little need, I do not know. But what I can say is that every visit to the gym and every yoga session produces oodles of cheerfulness in me. Now the knowledge about it is only one side of the coin, the other listens alternatively to so affectionate names like "inner pig dog" or "good resolutions" and "cuddly couch". In order to go to the gym more often, I started to arrange fixed dates with others (girlfriends, colleagues, partners). I shamelessly put pressure on myself, all for my own good, because of - see above! Second strategy: the studio is just around the corner from me. Everybody may be different, but short distances are one less obstacle on the way to cheerfulness.

Now, of course, not everyone likes to push themselves to fitness and would rather do something good for themselves in a different way. All I can say is yoga. To all those who are now groaning and rolling their eyes, let me tell you - either you haven't found the right teacher yet or you haven't tried it. Why do I say it this way? From my own experience as a participant, teacher and consultant. With interruptions, I've been practicing yoga for about 20 years, I trained as a yoga teacher about 15 years ago, and I've been advising adults on courses for more than five years.

Yoga concepts abound as much as anything. I started with the basic concept of hatha yoga and found a fabulous teacher right away in the beginner's course. In the second course there was a change in the leadership, which did not suit me. Since then I know: it has to fit, it doesn't mean that yoga is nothing. Because that's what an acquaintance before me thought. Fortunately, I was able to convince her not to throw in the towel the first time, but to have staying power: either go at least three times. If it is still not as desired, then simply try another course, another teacher - whether in the fitness studio or in yoga. It's certainly worth it! And listen to your own feelings. The plethora of private studios everyone may try out for themselves according to their own taste. I'm at TG and I really liked the skilful introduction to the equipment and the individual advice from the trainers. I also personally really like the relaxed atmosphere, the ambience with coffee bar at the counter and organic decor.
