What the Bavarian his barrel tapping to the Oktoberfest, can be us to the New Year only right and cheap. Many use the turn of the year to make a tabula rasa: the calendar lies more or less virgin in front of you, everything seems possible, everything open. The question: "What should stay, what can go away", does not only concern appointments, but also our existence or our own environment. We want to be better people and let the superego have its say again in January or simply long for order.
For us, the big tidying up began before Christmas, because visitors from away inspire us to clean tremendously. In the process, we noticed a lot of stacked books that had been pushing and shoving in rows of two for quite some time in the rule. Then the turn of the year came into play and the opportunity was never so good to finally put the good into the pots and the bad into the pots. Whereby books are not really bad in our opinion, but just so good that the rest of the world has to know about them :-) But please don't ask what happens to the ones that stay in the shelves at home: let's just say they can stay for sentimental value.
Now, in order to share with the universe and the world, an institution of the city of Frankfurt comes into play that seems to prove itself: the bookcases. Do you like them? Do you use them? At least the ones near us are flourishing.
Three places for bookcases in the east:
Merianplatz at the entrance to the subway station (Nordend)
Berger Straße, Alt-Bornheim (at the Eaglebauer, Irish Pub)
Arnsburger Platz in the Ostend near the ECB.

Happy swapping:
But there is much more to swapping. For years, for example, a potted plant has only been tolerated in our living room. For a long time the Ficus should go away, but who brings it over the heart a splendidly prospering plant so simply to abandon? But the plant lovers among us can also be helped:
<link http: www.botanoadopt.org _blank>"Botano Adopt" is the name of the initiative that acts like an animal shelter or a plant hatch. Upload a photo, advertise the plant, and the good item is in the placement loop. Address: Peter-Fischer-Allee 23, 65929 Frankfurt.

What are you throwing away? Or swaps? And what belongs to a successful start into the New Year?
