In November, the wine experience awaits you at Frankfurt Airport. Take off on your personal wine journey and taste the insider tips of wine experts from around the world.

On November 7, 2014, the "Destination Wine", the 1st International Wine Fair at Frankfurt Airport, will take off on its "inaugural flight". Over the course of three days, wine lovers, trade visitors from the entire and extended Rhine-Main region, national and international passengers and meeters and greeters, the airline community, retailers and airport hoteliers can visit this truly international trade fair in the middle of our airport's Terminal 1, exchange ideas with vintners & specialist wine retailers, taste hundreds of wines of the most diverse provenances on a multi-faceted tasting course and order supplies for their wine cellars.

Details:

• The venue is Terminal 1 in Public Departures B
• You can expect around 43 stalls with exclusive exhibitors consisting of winemakers, importers and specialist retailers showcasing theirinternational offerings.
• About 500 wines from over 100 vintners from 15 nations, 50 percent of which are from European countries (such as France, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, Italy), 33 percent from overseas (for example from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, USA) and the remaining 17 percent from Germany present their noblest drops.
• Of course, there is also a relaxing supporting program: Live music at the piano in the Shopping Avenue and a saxophonist as a walking act.
• No pre-registration is necessary, come and enjoy the wines from all over the world.
• Access to the wine fair is free! If you would like to participate in the wine tasting, pick up a wine glass for €10 at the glass dispensing booth. Of this, 5 € glass deposit will be refunded upon return.
• The central glass dispensing station is located in Hall B-Mitte.
