3 years of relaxation and enjoyment at NASCHMARKT AM DOM

3 years of relaxation and enjoyment at NASCHMARKT AM DOM

Category: Cafes & Bistros

There are places in Frankfurt where life is always pulsating. Alone because of the numerous tourists, the area around the cathedral is definitely one of them. But also the Museum of Modern Art, the caricatura - Museum of Comic Art or the nearby Schirn Kunsthalle as well as numerous restaurants, galleries and shops make sure that the heart of the city pulsates here. When the new old town is completed soon, this will certainly be even more noticeable. A place where you can simply take a deep breath and enjoy yourself is a welcome change. And that's exactly what Christiane Kern had in mind when she opened the "Naschmarkt am Dom" three years ago.

You don't have to enter this charming mix of caf<x>Ampersand</x>egrave;, delicatessen and gift shop to notice that a lot of passion and love for enjoyment is at work here. The offer keeps then exactly what the name promises. There are all sorts of fine things to snack on here, from delicious cookies and brownies to chocolates and pralines to liquorice in special variations. The cakes are also very tasty. Special highlights are the Frankfurter Mispelkuchen, an own creation based on the Sachsenhausen cult drink "Mispelchen", as well as the Rüblikuchen, which is available here in three variations. But of course Frankfurter Kranz is also a must.

But snacking doesn't always have to be sweet. The Cafès breakfast menu proves that, as do the soups, sandwiches or salads you can get here. What is not homemade comes from other high-quality suppliers, such as the coffee from the traditional roastery Wacker. The cosy, playful interior of the "Naschmarkt am Dom" ensures that guests quickly feel at home here and can relax perfectly with a good cup of coffee or hot chocolate and a delicious piece of cake.

But you can not only enjoy yourself here, you can also take all kinds of tasty things home with you. Teas, spices, vinegar, oils, wines, sparkling wine, as well as specialties from Frankfurt and Hesse are on offer here. But that's not all: You can also find nice and sometimes very original gift articles in the shop. Articles around the Bembel, beautiful postcards and all kinds of things around the topics of cooking, baking and decoration are on the shelves.

The "Naschmarkt am Dom" is really a lovely and very charming shop, Here, the quality of the offer is as important as the feel-good factor for the guest. This concept has been working for three years now - and on this birthday we wish the whole team that many more years will follow. Because here it becomes clear: Naschen can be so beautiful!
