The Signatures Veranda Restaurant at the InterContinental Frankfurt is always keen to offer its guests high-quality promotional offers in addition to the usual daily specials, which make for a particularly delicious visit to the restaurant. The Steak Exchange has recently become one such special, which is intended to lead to taste explosions among steak lovers on the last Thursday of each month. We were on site at the Steak Exchange in June and were able to get an idea of the diverse offerings that are dished up on this evening by Klaus Bramkamp and his team.

The guest has two options to feast extensively here. On the one hand, you can have a steak cut exactly as you wish, for which you then pay the current market price. Of course, only the best quality is offered, such as dry aged beef with the highest marbling level from Irish cattle from species-appropriate husbandry. The very tender and juicy meat is then prepared directly on site according to the desired cooking level. Whether you like it "rare", "medium" or "well done", every individual preparation wish is catered for here. The quality is guaranteed by the in-house butchery, which uses only meat from selected producers who are subject to strict controls and guidelines.

On the other hand, there is also the option to eat your way through the all you can eat steak buffet (incl. Side dishes and sauces) to try. We opted for the second option after a delicious starter of marinated beef slices with smoked paprika scrambled eggs. In addition to a piece of Dry Aged Beef Entrecôte, butter tender veal loin and a chop of Iberico pork, tender strips of flank steak cooked with a Bunsen burner right at the table were real flavor highlights. But even though the meat may be the focus of attention at the Steak Exchange, it is the numerous side dishes that make the whole thing a well-rounded affair. No matter if lightly fried mushrooms, intensely spiced potatoes, homemade herb butter, various salads or homemade dips - all this perfectly complements the already very good taste of the steaks. Really worth mentioning here is the bread, which is baked in the in-house bakery. Again, the selection is varied and extremely tasty, which is especially true of the spicy pepper bread and the hearty sourdough bread.

 

Since tastes are known to be different and there are especially in larger groups such as family reunions, birthday parties or after-work meetings usually also vegetarians or vegans, the offer of the Steak Exchange is designed so that even such guests here fully get their money's worth. So there is also a wide vegetarian offer on the evening of the Steak Exchange, which guarantees that really nobody has to go home hungry here. In the cosy ambience of the restaurant you can spend a few relaxed and very tasty hours with loved ones. And the nearby Mainufer invites just in the summer months afterwards still to a digestive walk.
