On Saturday 17 May 2014 at 11:00 am, the French twin town Rueil-Malmaison comes to Bad Soden. The International Cultural and Sports Exchange Association (IKUS) together with guests from Rueil-Malmaison will offer French specialties, including foie gras, quiche Lorraine, champagne and wine. In addition, the Bad Soden Beekeepers' Association will be presenting honey products and its members will have plenty of interesting things to say about the "busy bee".
At the Bad Soden market festival - organized by the German Market Guild - not everything revolves around food alone, after all, the celebration should definitely not come up short: At the children's face painting, beautiful spring faces will be created, at the wheel of fortune and a large raffle, beautiful non-cash prizes await the lucky winners. Those who take part in a knowledge quiz about the town of Bad Soden am Taunus and know all about it will be able to take home full gift baskets - with fresh produce directly from the weekly market. Music will also be provided: a brass band from Rueil-Malmaison will perform with snappy tunes.
Sporting guests from Rueil-Malmaison are also expected at the market festival. Thus, a boule team of the Pétanque Club de Rueil-Malmaison will travel to the Old Spa Park for the second time, which will play a city tournament with boule enthusiasts from Bad Soden am Taunus in hopefully sunny weather.
