In the middle of Sachsenhausen, at Wallstrasse 26/corner of Brückenstrasse, lies the small but fine ice cream shop Bizziice since summer 2013.
The interior is stylishly modern. However, the eye first falls exactly where it should: On a wonderful selection of delicious ice creams in the most glorious shades. The decision is incredibly difficult! Should it be Conte del Piemonte, the cream ice cream with the world-famous hazelnuts from Piedmont, or rather Red Kiss, a rhubarb quark ice cream? But the classics chocolate, vanilla or cookies look so damn delicious too!
The very friendly young lady behind the deli counter keeps her cool and smiles. With her assistance, an initial selection is made and indeed, the difference between this Bizzi family organic ice cream and that of regular ice cream parlors, is vast. The ice cream is tasty but not loud, it is sweet but not squeaky, it is creamy but not greasy. No wonder that the Bizzi family has won the "Great Taste Award" in the UK three times in a row for their ice cream! Connoisseurs can look forward to very well-balanced, individual flavours that are excellently produced by hand and whose ingredients are of a very high, certified organic standard. In terms of price, it's all absolutely fine. So eating ice cream again becomes what it should be: A special treat!
Since 2015, Bizzi Ice has also been spoiling customers in the North End with a beautiful Eiscafé, which is always worth a visit, especially in summer with its small outdoor terrace.
