It's time to celebrate: The <link https: www.facebook.com essbahnstation _blank>Eating Train Station & Street Food celebrates its one-year anniversary on June 26. June 2015 saw the debut of the International Street Food Market in Fechenheim. At the start of the 2016 season on 22 May, there were more guests and stalls on site than ever before. Reason enough to go one better for the birthday!
The culinary offer is again very diverse: There is meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan, coffee, cake and drinks. Among them are chefs from Ghana, Burundi, Turkey, Syria and Sri Lanka, but there are also a few street food classics like pastrami, soups and paella.
In total, there are three firsts (Peru, Greece, Ethiopia) and nine other stalls (Turkey, France, Syria, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Mr Pastrami, Tilly's Aunt, vegan, coffee & cake) for the anniversary. There will also be live music and the two European Championship eighth-final matches at 3pm (France-Ireland) and 6pm (Germany-Slovakia) will be shown - so there's no excuse not to stop by the Essbahnstation on Sunday.
