Cultural and culinary delights
First enjoy 90 minutes of culture in the hr broadcasting hall in Frankfurt - with imaginative programmes on delightful themes. And then move on to culinary delights in the tastefully decorated hr-Kasino, where a gourmet buffet themed to the event or the season awaits you.
From Karl VaIentin to Tango
In hr2-Kulturlunch, music and literature take up the respective theme and spin it off in idiosyncratic, often unexpected ways. From jazz to classical music, from chanson to Latin, everything is possible. Prose, poetry, dialogues and more enter into a relationship with the music. In the 2016/17 season, the thematic spectrum ranges from Karl VaIentin to Tango, from Eerie Tales to a Stroll in Paris, from The Lovely Present to Spring Awakening, from Witches' Magic to Couples' Stories.
The programs are interpreted by musicians from the hr-Sinfonieorchester, the hr-Bigband and renowned guests. For the recitation we were able to engage outstanding actors.
Book early
The hr2 Culture Lunch can be booked alone or in combination with the buffet afterwards. As the number of seats at the meal is limited and the combination tickets for event plus lunch are in high demand, early booking is recommended. We also offer attractive subscriptions with transferable tickets.
The matinees take place every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in the hr-Sendesaal (Funkhaus am Dornbusch, Bertramstraße 8, 60320 Frankfurt).
