On Monday Frankfurt-Tipp.de was allowed to make itself a picture of the Streetfood Festival in the 25th floor of the NEXTOWERS. A so-called "Food Porn Night" was offered for all foodies. There was live music, food videos and of course the many delicious delicacies from AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 BITES. With a wonderful view of the Frankfurt skyline, we started off with a cocktail from Stephan Hinz in hand at the guys from GOOSE, who offer Belgian waffles in delicious varieties - savory and sweet. I tried one of the savoury creations with cabbage, turkey meat and pickled onions - a real treat. Just opposite is the stall of eatDOORI, the new Indian street kitchen joint on Kaiserstrasse. Founded by three college friends, eatDOORI offers exotic flavours and authentic delights that simply melt in your mouth. Here I tried the naanwich with chicken tikka. The path through the first room of PRET A DINER then leads past the BENTO BOUTIQUE, where sushi lovers can indulge in very special creations. The fusion sushi and the neo-summer rolls are a real tip. For a completely different taste experience, head across the street to the HELLOW MELLOW booth. Here you can actually taste gourmet marshmallows. After these delights from the first room, our way leads us to the roof terrace, which not only offers a wonderful view of the skyline and the Hauptwache. Here you will also find the first of two stands, for which celebrity chef Tim Mälzer is responsible. Under the open sky, you can try the praline of pork belly or the "Hafenlümmel". Especially in combination with the atmospheric view this is a real recommendation.
The second room of this unusual street food project starts with a real highlight: at PERUVIAN BRO`S you will find authentic Peruvian folk cuisine at its best. You should definitely try the ceviche - even if you are not a big fish lover. Simply delicious! One booth over, Kay Schoeneberg - chef of KOFLER & KOMPANIE organizers for many years - offers the Bao Burger with Pork Belly, wasabi and coriander. Next door is Tim Mälzer's second stand. Here, I just couldn't go past the juicy ox cheeks. Tender meat in a spicy sauce, accompanied by a crispy bread chip - a delight! The stand of TILLY`S TANTE makes the conclusion. Here delicious soups and stews are offered. In Frankfurt, the food truck of Tilly`s Tante has long been a cult - no wonder, the creations that are offered here, but really extremely delicious and are also served very sympathetic. <link http: www.tillystante.de _blank>www.tillystante.de
In the second room there is also the VIP area, for which guests can reserve seats. But not only here, but in the whole area it becomes clear that the idea behind this edition of PRET A DINER, to mix the concepts of restaurant and street food markets, works perfectly. There is no need to be put off by the admission prices: The actual entrance costs on average 5 €, for the rest of the ticket price you get the thalers, with which you can then buy drinks (golden thalers) or food (black thalers) at the various stands on the 25th floor. And if the thalers are not enough, you can of course exchange PRET A DINER currency on the spot!
The culinary pop-up event, which is guesting in Frankfurt until 27.09., offers a different program every evening. Sometimes singer/songwriters accompany the delicious trip around the world, sometimes DJs put on electro-length, sometimes there's rap du dance and yet another time there's slam poetry. All of this, combined with the design of the location and the truly magnificent panoramic view of Frankfurt, creates a very special atmosphere that you definitely shouldn't miss. And one person in particular will thank you for it: your palate!

From internal show case to pop-up phenomenon: In 2004 Kofler & Company presented the PRET A DINER - collection for the first time, brought lifestyle into the catering business. Alongside food trends, table culture, art and ambience were presented in the spirit of the times. Each collection was created in close collaboration with talented, creative and highly decorated chefs from around the world.
In February 2011, KP Kofler developed the concept into a pop-up restaurant, which has since made guest appearances several times a year in various European cities.
So, since 2011, the dining concept has popped up in Berlin, Frankfurt, London, Zurich, as well as at Art Basel shortly after. In addition, PRET A DINER made a guest appearance as a "one-night-only" in a villa in Ibiza
