The Bohnerie - Ambassador for Coffee Culture

The Bohnerie - Ambassador for Coffee Culture

Category: Cafes & Bistros

When you enter the Bohnerie on Eschersheimer Landstraße, the first thing you notice is not only the intense smell of freshly roasted coffee. Also the view of jute bags filled with raw beans and the large roasting machine makes it clear that one has to do here not with a simple Café. Of course, people also meet here to enjoy a cup of good coffee, a piece of cake or another small delicacy. But the Bohnerie wants to offer its guests something more.

Because for owner Rawa Amin it was quite clear that Frankfurt actually does not need another Café. He sees himself more as a coffee ambassador who wants to give his visitors a whole new approach to the subject. When Amin moved to Frankfurt about two and a half years ago for love, it was clear to him that he would also like to use this new start professionally to do something that is really close to his heart. That's when the trained barista came up with the idea for a roasting salon, where guests are not only offered delicious coffee enjoyment. There should be a transparency here, which should intensify the interest in coffee and promote an exchange. Questions about the roasting process, the origin of the beans and the like are explicitly welcome.

Thus, not only information is exchanged. It also creates a very familiar, relaxed atmosphere, which is intensified by the music and the interior. You just feel comfortable here and - that's the most important thing - whatever you get served in the cups or on the plate is prepared with obvious craftsmanship and tastes really good. If you want to take advantage of this lovely atmosphere for more than just your after-work or lunch break, there's also a Public Workspace upstairs in the Roasting Room, which can also be reserved for larger groups.

With his concept, Rawa Amin was not only able to convince the people responsible for bidding for the location. Many of his customers have also become regulars in the first few months. Whether simply for a cup of coffee, a small lunch snack (the quiches are particularly popular) or a delicious piece of cake, if you are simply looking for a nice break from the stress of everyday life and want to forget the hustle and bustle for a few moments, this is exactly the right place. And for all those who love really good coffee, the Bohnerie is a must anyway! Be sure to stop by!
