Theatrium / Wilhelmstraßenfest in Wiesbaden

The Wilhelmstraße will once again be transformed into a festive mile on Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13, 2015, when the 38th Theatrium will be celebrated with music, show and culinary delights on the "Rue" as well as on the Bowling Green in front of the Kurhaus, at the Warmer Damm and in the Burgstraße. Theatrium will be celebrated.

For two days, colorful and unusual street artists, music bands of various styles, dance schools with their performances, the arts and crafts market with around 140 inspiring stalls and, of course, the huge culinary offer will ensure a good mood among the people of Wiesbaden and the numerous guests. A total of 28 - mostly local acts - will offer the best entertainment on five stages.

Along with them on Friday from 9:30 to 10 p.m. on the stage at the Bowling Green will be Antonio Gerardi, who recently took third place on "Deutschland sucht den Superstar". The stage programme will be complemented by 60 street performers, including jugglers, stilt walkers and marching bands. A total of 120 gastronomic stands will leave no culinary wishes unfulfilled. In addition, Burgstraße will present itself with a new concept. For the first time, well-known local restaurateurs will be represented here, such as Restaurant Lumen, Spital, Gestüt Renz, the "Manoamano Bar" or also the "Curry Kartell".

The opening will take place on Friday, June 12, at 4 pm on the stage at the Bowling Green. Lord Mayor Sven Gerich and Head of the Economic Department Detlev Bendel will open the festival. The official "After-Rue Party" will take place on Saturday, June 13, starting at 10 p.m. in the Marktgewölbe.
