Wines from grapes and apples meet for the first time and face off. Experience on two days the exciting pleasure derby between noble precious wines of the Mainzer Weinsalon and the quintessence of the finest ciders of the Frankfurt cider fair "Apfelwein Weltweit"!
Following the two-hour tasting on the Main, the evening will end on and below deck with the "Wine Derby Bottle Party", the winning sauce of the Green Sauce Festival 2015 and Hessian tapas. Accompanied by cool rhythms, enjoy the breathtaking backdrop of the Frankfurt skyline.
Each 7 young winemakers from Rheinhessen and 7 Hessian wine pressers from the Rhine-Main region present their wines - and you taste!
The Derby: The guests determine the best wine of the evening - attractive prizes will be raffled among the winning votes.
