Christoph Rainer has taken a few months off after seven successful years at Villa Rothschild - and is now swapping one two-star stove for another, well rested, because from 2015 Rainer is the new head chef at the Tiger Restaurant. So far, so well known, but now comes the hammer: Before Christoph Rainer moves to his new place of work, the likeable exceptional chef, together with Genussakademie kitchen master David Fischer, will celebrate a spectacular menu at the turn of the year for an exclusive circle of guests at the Genussakademie Fressgass! That Rainer is again in absolute top form can already be seen in the announced menu: From unstuffed (!) organic foie gras with liquorice flavours, pickled and iced pineapple of the air and spiced brioche to warm Gillardeau oyster with foamed bisque, curry <x>Ampersand</x> Salt Lemon and Sea Grass, Lofoten Skrei with Sauce Bourride, Palourde Scallop and Brandade, and char-grilled Greater Omaha US Beef with Jerusalem Artichoke Textures and Small Baked Potato to Nyangbo Chocolate Jellied with Blue Mountain Coffee and Kalamansi &.x>Ampersand</x> iced, the two-star chef makes saying goodbye to the old year really easy - in the coming year, after all, you can regularly experience his cooking at Tiger Restaurant!

Of course, there will be a Chef's Table again this year, where you can not only follow the culinary art of Christoph Rainer up close, but also celebrate with him personally relaxed towards New Year's Eve. Champagne will also be served during the meal, and if that's not enough, you can purchase a bottle for a toast at midnight for a small fee - all drinks during dinner are, of course, included that evening. When it's time to call it a night at 23:30, all guests can end their New Year's Eve watching the fireworks at Opernplatz - or simply head over to the Genussakademie Medienhaus, where the party sun won't set on 1001 Nights until 03:00!

Another highlight that you can conveniently combine with the two-star New Year's Eve is the spectacular New Year's revue at the Tigerpalast (Christoph Rainer's new workplace). You can transfer quite comfortably directly after the end of the dinner in the Genussakademie either on foot or by taxi "rüber" into the most famous Varieteheater of the republic and experience there from point 00:05 clock a program of the absolute extra class with many surprises - tickets simply book under www.tigerpalast.de/tickets/silvester/!

The price includes the champagne reception and five-course dinner with accompanying wines and soft drinks. Additional bottles of champagne are available for purchase.
