The organic winery
The winery is located in Hochstadt, in the sun-drenched wine-growing region of Palatinate, on the Southern Wine Route, between the cities of Landau and Speyer. In the fourth generation and with a lot of joy and motivation, Christian Butz and his wife are now managing the winery. All the commitment and the knowledge he has acquired in renowned training companies and at the technical school in Weinsberg, as well as the collected inspirations and experiences of his stays abroad in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa have further formed his passion for wine. The result is a lot of pleasure to enjoy. Those who wish can taste the wines and sparkling wines in the winery's vinotheque by prior appointment. Guests can also receive personal recommendations from the experts. Highest quality as well as excellent customer service are thus guaranteed.
The organic cultivation and expansion, gentle processing as well as the grape juice and grape juice sparkling wine production set the Christian Butz winery apart from other wineries. The result is elegant, invigorating, fruity fresh white wines that captivate with their aromatics and red wines that are very colour-intensive, complex and lasting. The high-quality sparkling wines are produced using the gentle traditional bottle fermentation method. A homemade mulled wine made from white wine and a sparkling, refreshing secco round out the range.

The "8b sound-inside" is a refinement method that uses sound waves to make Christian Butz's wines even more expressive in taste and at the same time more harmonious. Six of the wines as well as the two vintner's sparkling wines are sonicated and refined in a very individual way with classical, harmonizing music and sounds of nature. Through this special kind of sonication, Christian Butz and his wife, in grandiose collaboration with their friend, musician and healer Dirk Kolberg, have achieved a special status since 2011, which has made them unique and well-known at home and abroad! Tasty harmonies emerge and refine the wine as well as the sparkling wine. This is confirmed not only by long-standing customers but also those who became aware of the winery through regional and national press, as well as radio and television.

In recent years, the winery Christian Butz has successfully participated in numerous competitions. All hired wines and sparkling wines were always awarded. This is confirmed by the many medals and awards that have been accumulated over the years. Also the regional and national press, as well as radio and television became attentive on the sounded "8b sound-inside" wines as well as the exclusive refining method. Reports and interviews followed in the press and television broadcasts. The "Deutsche Welle" report was broadcast worldwide in eight different languages. INTERNATIONAL Organic Wine Award 2018
Winery Christian Butz was again very successful with its noble drops in 2018: All four wines submitted for competitions were awarded with the new International Organic Wine Award 2018, two x GOLD and two x SILVER.
