From 20 January to 20 February 2014, the "World Gourmet Society Festival" will be making its way to the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt am Main. At the international gourmet event, top chefs from 21 top restaurants around the world will create a new culinary landscape and offer gourmets a top-class menu in addition to their regular menu. In the Sèvres restaurant of the five-star superior hotel, whose excellent reputation is known far beyond the borders of Frankfurt, chef Marco Wenninger and his team treat their guests to a new interpretation of fine German culinary art as part of the festival.
Culinary experience of the highest order: for starters, roasted pikeperch medallion is served with a salad of beetroot, almonds apple and pea shoots in hazelnut vinaigrette. The second course is a sorrel cream soup with a roulade of zuccamaglio reenette and walnut. The main course provides pure pleasure: braised veal boiled fillet with Frankfurt herb jus, caramelized apple, creamed leek and potato-horseradish mousseline. The sweet finale is a Valrhona chocolate mousse with Elstar apple cinnamon sabayon and tonka bean crème ice cream.
The menu costs 65 euros per person and can be reserved by 20 February 2014 on 069 75402927. An overnight stay at the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof can be booked from 239 euros in a single room and from 269 euros per person in a double room
