Admittedly, you have to leave the beautiful city of Frankfurt am Main, which is always hard for me, but stay in Hesse and make your way towards the state capital.
It's worth the trip! In the northwest of Wiesbaden, the city itself runs the animal and plant park Fasanerie. The area, which can be visited free of charge, is about 25 hectares in size and is home to a wide variety of animal and plant species.
50 native animal species, starting with the goats, rabbits, foxes to wolves and bears, there are to see. Whereas in the wild, the wolves and bears at the moment rather find shelter in the far south and east of the republic.
Furthermore, there are various events such as animal experience tours, survival for kids (orientate in nature, build a shelter .) and much more.
There are currently a few minor construction measures, but they do not dampen the fun by far!
