When the Sport Arena at the Hauptwache closed its doors a few months ago, it was quickly announced that a branch of SAKS OFF 5TH would be moving in. SAKS OFF what? In this country, this chain is still largely unknown. But that is sure to change quickly with the opening on Thursday, June 22. Because the Canadian Hudson`s Bay Company offers premium brands at affordable prices. In Frankfurt, there are clothes, shoes, accessories and more from around 700 brands to discover on a total of 5,200sqm, spread over a total of four floors. Which brands are included in the constantly changing assortment is decided by head buyer Berna Bartosch, who presented the Frankfurt branch together with Wayne Drummond, President of Saks Europe, shortly before the opening. After a year of planning and a very successful opening of the first European store a few weeks ago in Düsseldorf, the two are looking forward to finally opening the doors to all customers in Frankfurt.
In the design, a lot of emphasis was placed on ensuring that customers can easily find their way around despite the large store area and the wide range of products. In addition, the aim is to create a real feel-good atmosphere so that people can shop here in a relaxed manner and want to come back again. In addition to the inviting atmosphere, the relaxed shopping experience is also ensured by comfortable seating, which invites customers to take a rest or gives them the opportunity to make a purchase decision in peace and quiet. After all, once a particularly beautiful item has been discovered, this decision should not be put off for too long. Because often only a few pieces of the individual articles are offered here. Some are even only single pieces. Although this encourages you to decide really quickly for or against a purchase, it also means that the range on offer here is constantly changing. With every visit, there is something new to discover and new bargains to grab.
The reduced prices stem from the fact that the goods are one to two seasons old and thus do not correspond to the very current trends. Of course, that doesn't mean that you'll find outdated slow sellers here. On the contrary: Bartosch and her team attach great importance to ensuring that the hottest trends of internationally sought-after brands for women and men are to be found in the range. Because SAKS OFF 5TH stands for an exclusive selection of premium brands and new labels at attractive off-prices. While there is a large selection of shirts, shoes, jackets, accessories and trousers for men in the basement, many a woman's heart will beat faster at the sight of the shoe selection on the first floor. Since the assortment is constantly changing, they are clearly sorted by size and not by type of shoe.
The ground floor is a paradise for bag lovers. But sunglasses and clothing can also be found here. On the 2nd floor you can find some nice gift ideas, home accessories, kids clothes and more. At the opening there will be a total of about 65,000 pieces in the assortment, from really very cheap to high priced - but still significantly reduced compared to the original price. If you like to shop a little more exclusively and want to be a little easy on the wallet, you will definitely be thrilled with this new shop.
