If there is one place in Frankfurt that deserves the term institution, it is the Tigerpalast. Because not only did its founders Johnny Klinke, Margareta Dillinger and Matthias Beltz, who died much too early in 2002, bring the tradition of Varieté-theatre, which had actually disappeared from the cityscape, back to Frankfurt with the Tigerpalast in 1988. With their concept, they have also created the starting signal for a renaissance of the metropolitan Varietéarts. For over 25 years, the Tigerpalast has been a clear leader in this field. This was achieved not only by the constant obligation of internationally renowned artists. Also the mixture from first-class Varieté art and top catering trade worked out with joint founder Robert Mangold makes the tiger palace so special. This has not changed after 2-star chef Christoph Rainer took over from Mangold as head of gastronomy at the Tigerpalast.
Since the grand opening of the Tigerpalast, Margareta Dillinger has repeatedly succeeded in bringing great world-class artists to Frankfurt. This also highlights yet another special feature of the Tigerpalast. Because the artists are offered the singular possibility of living during their engagement of several months in particularly furnished artist dwellings directly in the house with their families. Thus the tiger palace becomes evenly not only the job, but also a piece homeland, the entire team becomes a kind large family. This is another reason why the Tigerpalast enjoys a very special, very positive reputation in the industry, and why it thus succeeds time and again in attracting quite outstanding talent for the revues.
This high level, however, determines not only the events on stage, but also what the guests are served here on the plates. High quality for eye and palate attracts naturally also an appropriate public, why in the over 25 years, which there is the tiger palace now already, already so some prominent guest from politics and Showbusiness could be met. But of course the Tigerpalast is not only something for the Haute Volée, but for all Frankfurt and guests of our beautiful city, the Varieté of the extra class love. A real Frankfurt tip.
