Görner can also dress women
It flashes and glitters at the photo shoot of Daniel Baldus, photographer of the campaign "Kleider machen Leute". Today Sabine Geist slips out of jeans, T-shirt and sneakers into a tailored two-piece women's costume made of shiny silver fabric by Frankfurt's bespoke tailor Stephan Görner. She is one of twelve amateur models who are in the campaign spotlight for the message of recognition, appreciation and respect for unusual or dangerous professions, as well as the people behind them. The visual marketing designer is an all-round talent and is also responsible for bookkeeping, personnel, incoming and outgoing goods, logistics and for looking after the trainees in her husband Tom's business. But she also lends a hand when it comes to creatively planning, decorating and designing events large and small.
"I'm no stranger to physically demanding work on a ladder with a cordless screwdriver or an Allen key. I have been doing this for ten years now. I also don't mind the dismantling times late at night after the events. The main thing is that the customers are satisfied and appreciate our teamwork," says Sabine Geist. The team around Tom and Sabine Geist has already worked for many well-known clients and projects, including "Ein Herz für Kinder", "the Berlinale", "Das Goldene Lenkrad" or the "Bambi". Also for the charity gala "Kleider machen Leute" on November 10th the "Geister-Team" will take care of the hall, table, lounge and flower decoration. But then at the dismantling without Sabine, because she celebrates in the chic outfit of Görner as a guest of honour in the beautiful ambience of the Hotel Kempinski Gravenbruch. The Charty Gala, in aid of the Leberecht Foundation is open to the public. "Anyone can buy tickets," says Sven Müller, organizer of the gala and adds, "including champagne reception, VIP fashion show, candlelight menu and a great music program until the early hours of the morning, the ticket costs 250 euros per person. In the last three years, we have been able to contribute over 90,000 euros to the Leberecht Foundation through donations from the event, supporting children in need or their families."
