At the end of the year, the "blind date concert series" Music Sneak presents a very special edition: Music Sneak meets Bandpool on Saturday, December 16 at the myticket Jahrhunderthalle club. Supported by Süwag Energie AG, this evening marks the second time that the top support program of the Popakademie Baden Württemberg, Bandpool, meets the concert format of the Jahrhunderthalle.

There were big anniversaries to celebrate in Mannheim's musical neighborhood this year. The Popakademie Baden Württemberg was founded 20 years ago. "Punks don't start anything, and you can't learn pop! But the Popakademie has been proving for 20 years that this is indeed possible." The Stuttgarter Zeitung newspaper summed up the development of the successful institution, consisting of the Pop Unit and the music industry, in the middle of the year.
And exactly five years longer, i.e. 25 years today, there has been the Bandpool coaching program, which has become the Popakademie's top funding program over the years. In the Bandpool project, bands from all over Germany are prepared for their entry into the professional music business and their musical identity is consolidated and supported.
Known graduates of the program include ClockClock, Revolverheld, Max Giesinger, Lotte and NOVAA.
Last December, what fits together perfectly came together for the first time: the Music Sneak presented three acts from the then Bandpool squad at the end of its 5th birthday year. An unforgettable evening that cried out to be repeated. And so this year, too, the anniversary finale remains true to form. On December 16, at the end of Mannheim's birthday celebrations, three current Bandpool acts will perform on the Music Sneak stages in the Jahrhunderthalle club. One thing is certain, the musical quality will once again be more than convincing and perhaps you will discover Germany's new superstar in the pop sky on this special evening!
