For years, the Green Sauce Festival at Roßmarkt has been one of the event highlights that herald the summer in the city. But this year everything is different - including the festival around the 7 herbs. Fortunately, however, the festival is not cancelled, but moved from early May to October. The new scheduled date is 3 - 10.10.2020. The organizers hope - as we all do - that the situation will have returned to normal by then and that all visitors, participants and artists will be able to celebrate the Grie Sooß together without any worries.
The festival does not only thrill around 5000 guests in the marquee on each of the eight evenings. Also the market surrounding the tent has proven to be a crowd puller in the past years. So, in the current situation, it is of course clear that such an event cannot take place in the near future. However, should the situation return to normal by October, nothing will stand in the way of an enjoyable festival. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the organizers, artists and all of us!
