- 4 frankfurters
- 4 slices of cheese (preferably hard cheese suitable for gratinating)
- 4 slices of ham (cooked or smoked ham, whichever you prefer)
- Puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
Preparation:
Wrap the sausages first with the cheese and then with the ham. Then roll the puff pastry (it is best to use ready-made dough from the freezer for this), roll it out and cut four slices. Wrap each of the sausages in one of these slices and place them on a baking tray (seam side down). Now brush the whole thing with the egg yolk while you preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Now bake the sausages in the shirt until they get a golden brown color. And this deliciousness is ready! Enjoy it!
