Every year the fright goes into my limbs, or I rush into town today. If you were still working diligently to the hilt this week, like me, you might have barely gotten around to buying presents. Or even had a chance to think about it. But that's what I'm here for. Because, happily, part of my job is to think about things for you here. I walked through Frankfurt, away from the hustle and bustle, to find original gift ideas for you. What did I find? Lots of handmade design from Frankfurt creatives that also meet my personal gift criteria - be practical and as sustainable as possible!

· Speaking of "finding". Guaranteed to make front door or car keys much easier to find when dangling from a gorgeous pendant. Add a stylish clutch with "Frau Rauscher" motif and the next outfit is saved. Combined with leather trousers or a leather jacket, a felt bag is an edgy eye-catcher!
