Zack, cold shock. I won't beat around the cold.sorry, hot bush on that one. November has arrived with a bang. And it's not surprising. In fact, as always, it brings with it wind and weather. Think about it: reliability is also a virtue J. No nasty surprises like endless sun. You notice, I save myself with gallows humor through the gray day, because it helps nothing. We in Hessen have autumn.
But how does it go again?
I have completely forgotten what to wear in autumn and how to have fun in the eleventh month of the year after the crazy summer, when we lived outside and wore t-shirts. Do you guys feel the same way?
However, I have to tell you something: I like fall and I also like November.
Mostly because of the leaves. This year the leaves weren't quite as vibrantly colorful because of the drought. But the play of colors in nature is unique.
Or, to paraphrase Heinrich Seidel:
"Such a month must be praised;
None can rage like this one;
None can be so morose
And so without sunshine"
Okay, maybe less sunshine. But no one can say November is boring, because the so-called "wind moon" comes rather spirited.
November fun: firesides, whirlwinds and colorful leaves
You can say what you want, but now begins fireside season. At home, of course. Still, I don't want to fall into hibernation like a groundhog, but also want to get out in the evenings and meet up with friends.
Very nicely suited for this is the <link http: www.eschenheimer.de kaminzimmer.html _blank>Bar am Eschenheimer-Turm with Kaminzimmer - crackling fire in a quiet place with historical flair. I like that.
Whoever now generally <link https: www.frankfurt-tipp.de geniesser-tipp.html _blank>has a desire for indulgence, just take a look at the tips here on our site.
And then the walks! Like along the<link https: www.frankfurt-tipp.de insidefrankfurt s shopping neulich-an-der-nidda-ein-herbstausflug.html _blank> Nidda in Höchst? Unbeatable. Just park at the market square, start walking and on the way back grab a warm drink on the boat or head for coffee in the historic old town.
Of course, it's also possible to cycle along the Main from Frankfurt. For the sporty ones among us a piece of cake, the others like me wrap up guuuuut, and pedal off.
November fun: Right now I'm also a big friend of sauna sessions, the more varied the offer, the better.
In Berchtesgaden I once tried an ice room to cool down. That was quite an experience. Frankfurt is full of fabulous offers to stay fit and fresh in November, or to just relax after work - as I introduced you to before in my post on <link https: www.frankfurt-tipp.de insidefrankfurt s shopping crush-ice-oder-honig-aufguss-saunieren-in-frankfurt.html _blank>Sauning in Frankfurt .
How do you spend November? What do you do against the autumn blues?
