But the trend is increasingly towards the simple, original French cuisine found in bistros and brasseries. The MANAGER MAGAZINE reports in a current article about this "new, old trend", which has also been joined by restaurants in Frankfurt. It mentions "Mon Amie Maxi" (Bockenheimer Landstr. 31), which proves with many classics of hearty cuisine that bistro cuisine and the quality you are used to from haute cuisine do not necessarily have to be mutually exclusive. On the contrary: it is also a real art to bring a piece of French savoir-vivre to the plate of guests in Frankfurt with traditional or "simple" dishes - which the team at MON AMIE MAXI manages to do very well.
