Cosy interior, cordial service and delicious treats - these are the hallmarks of the GLAUBURG Café which since its opening in 2012 has become a popular attraction not only, but especially for people from the neighbourhood. Owner Mehmet Iyigün and his team want one thing above all: the guests should feel comfortable here. And that is actually the case as soon as you enter. The smell of fresh coffee, the homely ambience and the friendly, often humorous greeting immediately create a good mood and a relaxed atmosphere.
In the morning, breakfast is excellent here. In addition to the different breakfast variations with caramel brioche, Bornheimer 5-grain muesli, homemade tomato-basil dip, juicy juniper ham, salmon or various types of sausage and cheese, the delicious WACKERS coffee or the homemade Turkish tea are highly recommended. At lunchtime, there are warm snacks such as soups, sandwich platters you can make yourself, beef sausage from Gref Völsings, homemade green sauce or freshly grilled sandwiches. But a real highlight are also the sweet delicacies, like the almost legendary cheesecake or the delicious marble cake.
By the way, neighbourliness is generally writ large here, not only in the hospitality and the atmosphere, but also in the ingredients. Almost all of them come from Frankfurt and the surrounding area, like the delicious bread from Rödelheim or the coffee from the Wacker family and the sausage from Gref Völsing. The GLAUBURG Café is a very charming place where you simply feel comfortable alone, with friends or family. And another tip: If you want to enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet, which is served every Sunday from 10am to 3pm, you should definitely reserve a seat beforehand!
